Delete Account
Deleting your MedHub account permanently removes your personal data from our systems.
What will be deleted immediately?
- Your account profile (name, email, phone, username, display name)
- All security questions and answers
- All devices and active sessions (you'll be logged out everywhere)
- All exam results, answers, and progress
- All seen questions and question tracking
- All personal notes, flashcards, and note attachments
- All AI conversations, chat history, and conversation chunks
- All shared links (exams, notes, conversations) created by you
- All notifications sent to you
- All withdrawal requests and wallet transactions
- All subscription records (including trial and paid plans)
- All referral links and referral relationships (your referral code becomes invalid)
- Any other user‑generated content directly associated with your account
What will be anonymised (not deleted)?
Payments and transaction records – Your payment history will be dissociated from your identity (user ID set to null) but kept for financial audit, tax, and accounting purposes as required by law.
Audit logs and security events – System logs that record actions performed by your account will be anonymised (actor ID set to "deleted_user") to preserve operational integrity without identifying you.
These anonymised records are retained only for the period required by applicable regulations and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Offline data on your device
Some data may remain cached in your browser or IndexedDB until you manually clear your browsing data or uninstall the PWA. To remove all local copies, you can clear your site data from your browser settings.
Active subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions managed through third‑party payment providers (e.g., M‑Pesa). Please cancel them separately before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
